Continuing Support for Year 11 – Through the Holiday & Beyond

With the exception of GCSE Russian on the 23rd June, all other GCSE examinations will be completed by the end of the day on Friday 17th June. This means that in just 18 days from this post (10 school days, 2 school weeks) most Year 11 students will be done and can start what will potentially be the longest summer holiday that they will ever get!

We are extremely pleased and proud of the way that our Year 11 cohort have been approaching their examinations up to the half-term break, making use of the support available to them through continuing to attend lessons, extra “Booster Sessions”, the “Study Café” and “Saturday School”. In order to help maintain the focus over the next 18 days the following information shows the many ways that we will continue to support our Year 11 students to do the best that they can…

May Half-Term Revision School

The following revision sessions are happening as part of the May Revision School:

Tuesday 31st May 2016 09:30-12:30 English Targeted sessions to get help students secure at least a grade C in “the big one” (i.e. English Language).

12:40-15:10

The school library will be opened between 09:30-15:00 on Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd May for any students to use for quiet revision.

The school continues to be fully open to Year 11 students in order to provide lessons and revision space up until Tuesday 14th June.
