Dear Families,

I am writing to give you advanced warning of early closure on Friday 8th July. This is to allow staff and friends of the family to attend Mr Wharton’s funeral which is taking place at the United Reformed Church in Macclesfield at 1pm on Friday 8th July.

Registration will be at the normal time of 8.45am but we will be closing school at 11.30am. There will be an opportunity for students to have a light lunch before the end of the school day. We have alerted the coach companies who are aware of the early finish.

We appreciate that not everybody who wishes to attend the funeral will be able to owing to the size of the church so Tytherington School plans to hold a special Guy Wharton Celebration Evening on Wednesday 13th July in the Main Hall.
