Dear Parents,

From September 2016 we propose to run a school bus to bring students in the Rainow and central Macclesfield areas to the school if we can get enough students using it. The route is only viable if we have at least 40 students using it. The route will include: Rainow, Buxton Road, Black Road, Park Green, Park Lane, Ivy Lane, Ivy Road, Chester Road and Tytherington School. The cost will be £3.50 per day per student (approximately £665 per year). All students may use the bus including 6th form students.

Routes being considered subject to demand

We are considering running buses from Whaley Bridge. However, this can only happen if at least 40 students wish to use a bus service at the price stated above.
