Congratulations to Talluah Howarth who was appointed as our first ever Poet Laureate. The Poet Laureate will write and perform poems to commemorate important events/achievements of the school. The poet laureate will also promote the appreciation of poetry around the school e.g through assemblies, form time, and running House competitions and workshops for younger students. They will also contribute to school publications.

Abbie Macdonald was also appointed to assist.

We have also created a Poetry Society with the following as founding members:

Betty Wilson (Year 12),  Anna Langston (Year 11), Tallulah Howarth (Year 10), Marian Walford (Year 8), Abbie McDonald (year 8) and Poppy Dutton (year 8).
