Since January, Tytherington School has been fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust. Fundraising activities have ranged from sponsored silence, cake sales, chocolate to sponge the teachers. We have also had a whole school non-uniform day. All tutor groups have taken part. We were delighted to be joined by Vanessa Simmons, Regional Fundraising Manager for Teenage Cancer Trust on Tuesday 28th March who accepted a cheque for £4017! She said: “I’m so impressed with the determination of the students to raise money for other teenagers who are experiencing treatment.”
We will also be performing at a fashion show at the Manchester Airport to raise evening more money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
Mrs McPike will also be doing a Skydive for Teenage Cancer Trust on Sunday 14th May. So far, she has raised over £1000. If you would like to donate please visit:
