Space To Talk About Manchester
26th May 2017

Following this week’s tragic events in Manchester, there may be children and families who are finding it difficult to cope with the thoughts that have arisen as a result. Equally we are aware that parents may also feel unprepared to support their children to manage their feelings and concerns. This is even more likely to be the case for those who might have been at the concert or who have been directly and personally affected in some way.

Coping with incidents of this significance and coming to terms with the disbelief they may feel, as well as possibly dealing with grief and loss can sometimes be difficult and unpredictable.

Visyon are offering some ‘Space to Talk’ sessions during half term week for teachers, young people and their parents in Cheshire East. We can provide a listening ear and also to suggest ways to support young people who need to explore their thoughts.

The sessions will run simultaneously at both Fellowship House in Congleton and Mill House in Crewe on the following dates. No appointment is necessary.
