On Monday 14th October, Tytherington School hosted their third annual Grandparents Day. The grandparents of our current students were invited to Tytherington School for afternoon tea, a tour of the school, followed by a speech from the Headteacher. Students prepared and served the tea.

One guest said ‘We would like to thank you for a great opportunity to see the school on a normal day. The food was brilliant too. It was great to be able to spend time walking and talking with staff and children.  All the young people helping in the hall today and showing us around were a credit to the school’.

Headteacher, Emmanuel Botwe said: “This is a date in the calendar which we really look forward to. It is a great opportunity to connect with the local community and for students to show off their school.”
