Re: Partial Opening – Friday 18th February 2022
As you will be aware, we are continuing to experience staffing challenges because of significant numbers of staff who are unable to attend school as they have tested positive for COVID. Unfortunately, this means that we do not have enough teachers to safely cover the curriculum for this Friday.
Having taken on board a range of factors, we think that we can remain open to all year groups tomorrow apart from Year 8. As a parent myself, I know that this will be a huge disappointment to families.
Work will be set on Firefly. As teachers will be redeployed on these days, online lessons will not be possible for Year 8. If you are unsure of how to access Firefly, please follow the link below:

Please be on the lookout for any further updates via the Headteacher’s Notes which will be released tomorrow.
The non-uniform day in aid of the British Heart Foundation will still go ahead as planned.
