Tytherington School’s Boys’ Year 8 who became the first Tytherington boys side to win the Cheshire Cup for over 30years. The win against Helsby High School capped off a very strong cup campaign. Tytherington’s Year 8 team will hope to add to their trophy cabinet when they play in the Macclesfield and District Final in a few weeks’ time.

Team coach, Mr Henshall, commented:

“The team showed tons of commitment, drive and resilience to achieve this feat. Tytherington were excellent throughout the competition and were deserving winners”.
