|The admissions process for entry 2019 is …|
|Thursday 8th November||Sixth Form Open Evening. This is an opportunity for prospective students and parents to speak to members of staff and students. It allows students to gather information about all of the courses they are considering so that they can begin to build their knowledge of a possible Sixth Form programme of study.|
|Friday 23rd November||Post-16 Guidance Meetings and Taster Lessons. All current Year 11 students will have a meeting with a member of the Year 11 or Sixth Form Team where we will discuss post-16 pathways and subject choices. Throughout the day students will also attend a number of pre-chosen taster lessons to help them to make their final choices before submitting an application.|
|Friday 25th January 2019||Deadline for applications.|
|Wednesday 6th February||Internal candidates & external– Post-16 Guidance Meetings. All current Year 11 students will have a second guidance meeting. This allows senior staff students and parents to review course choices in light of mock GCSE examination results and taster lessons.|
|Late February||Guidance meetings for additional external applicants.|
|April||Offers of provisional places made via letter.|
All offers are made subject to students meeting the entry requirements of the courses they wish to study. If students do not meet the entry requirements, an alternative offer will be made where possible.
Offers are subject to students maintaining excellent behaviour and attendance. We reserve the right to withdraw any offers to our 6th Form if students do not meet our high standards of behaviour.
