Teacher of Psychology

Contract length: Permanent

We are seeking to appoint from January 2021, a teacher of Psychology.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Macclesfield’s leading and expanding secondary schools and make a significant contribution to the school’s learning support team. The role includes carrying out teaching and learning support programmes to enable access to learning for students.

Hours of Work: 32.5 per week. Monday – Friday (Term-time plus 5 INSET days)

Salary: Grade 4: £13,350 – £14,188 (£17,694 – £18,804 FTE)

Cover Supervisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Macclesfield’s leading secondary schools and make a significant contribution to the Administration Team. The main purpose of the role will be to supervise whole classes of pupils and ensure that set work is completed in the absence of the teacher, so that an effective and tailored school policy to cover, is delivered.

Commencement date: October/November 2020

Hours of Work: 37 per week, 8.15am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 4.00pm on Fridays, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break each day.

Weeks per Year: 39 weeks per year (term time; plus 5 inset days).

Salary: Grade 5: £16,153 – £18,182 per annum (£18,804 – £21,166 FTE)

Pension: Local Government contributory scheme
